Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch – Nur Du 9 Jun 2012 - 10 Jun 2012 Nur Du (Only You) is a piece by Pina Bausch in co-production with the University of California in Los Angeles, the Arizona State University, the University of California Berkley, the University of Texas in Austin, Darlene Neel Presentations, Rena Shagan Associates Inc and Music Center Inc. Pina Bausch was born in the industrial town of Solingen in 1940. Starting to dance at the age of 15, she studied at the Folkwang School in Essen. Following a period in New York and dancing with Folkwang Ballet, Pina Bausch was invited to become the director of the ballet company in Wuppertal in 1973. |
