Kage Physical Theatre is a physical theatre/contemporary dance company founded in 1996, by Kate Denborough and Gerard van Dyck. They perform at the intersection of dance, circus and theatre. The name "Kage" is an abbreviation for "Kate+Gerard". Kage have been supported by the Australia Council and in 2001 Denborough and Van Dyck completed a three month residency at the Australia Council Studio at the Cite Internationale des Arts in Paris. |
