The Pennsylvania Ballet is a ballet company in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, established in 1963 by Barbara Weisberger. The company became a regionally important institution, and performed in New York for the first time in 1968. The Ballet has since appeared on the PBS show Dance in America. Between 1987 and 1989, the Pennsylvania Ballet allied with the Milwaukee Ballet. In 2006, the company was chosen to perform in the Fall for Dance Festival at New York's City Center Theatre |
