Mia’s passion in life lies in the art of dance and exploration of movement. In her senior year of college, Mia was the president of the Company of Ateneo Dancers, and also received the Dean’s Award for the Arts in Dance. Her senior thesis was the creation of a dance workshop catering to underprivileged teens, to build creativity, self-efficacy, and confidence. Mia further pursued her dance career, being part of the Philippine International Competitive Aerobics Federation (PICAF) National Hiphop Team in 2004 and also by taking workshops at Steps Dance Studio.
