Bharathi learned dance from the age of four and has presented her Bharatanatya Arangetram under the tutelage of Mrs Santha Bhaskar. She has performed extensively in Singapore and Malaysia. She features regularly in productions of Nrityalaya Aesthetics Society and Bhaskar's Arts Academy, including Ramayana, Aum Muruga, mystic dance drama Quest, Vinayaka and Sanskrit drama Vikramorvasiyam.
